At Syracuse University’s College of Engineering and Computer Science we are focused on supporting the whole student. We encourage you to take full advantage of the resources offered through first-year programs, career services, and students success programs.

We also encourage you to explore opportunities to do undergraduate research, pursue internships, and study abroad.

Student Success Center

Located in 121 Link Hall, the Student Success Center is focused on providing support to throughout their time her as a student at Syracuse University. At the College we are committed to the success of each individual. It is a commitment that is found not only in our classrooms, but also in the programs and experiences that we provide to our students.

Advising

In this model, every undergraduate student in the College is provided a team of advisors to support and mentor them throughout their undergraduate career. Returning students are assigned a faculty advisor and a career advisor, and first-year students are assigned a student success advisor, a career advisor, and a faculty advisor.

Career Services

Career Services provides students with the tools they need to succeed in today’s job market. With our extensive connections to industry leaders, who regularly hold information sessions, and our workshops, seminars, and drop-in advising, we empower our students to successfully reach their career goals.

Student Success Programs

These programs serve to support our students’ development in the academic, personal, and professional skills that are so critical for success and leadership in today’s society.
