Practical Experience

• Your computer science major can be combined with one or two minors from any of Syracuse’s other schools and colleges. You can also pursue a 5-year combined degree option that allows you to receive a computer science degree and a degree in a major of your choice from the College of Arts & Sciences.
• Co-ops and internship opportunities in Engineering and Computer Science empower you to pursue experiential learning through professional, paid work experience in your field and still graduate in four years.
• Collaborate with faculty on research projects at on- and off-campus institutes and labs.
• The College of Engineering and Computer Science has 20 co-curricular organizations as well as student organizations like Engineers without Borders and WiSE (Women in Science and Engineering).
• The 5-year H. John Riley Dual Engineering/MBA Program allows you to earn a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and an MBA from Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management.
• The 4+1 B.S./M.S. Program allows you to earn a master’s degree in computer engineering one year after successful completion of the computer engineering bachelor’s degree.
